North Korean leader wants to discuss '100-year plan' with Russia

Moscow [Russia], September 15: According to the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), North Korean leader Kim Jong-un had a talk for about 5 hours with Russian President Vladimir Putin at the Vostochny spaceport (Amur province, Russia) on 13.9.
Mr. Kim expressed his confidence that the visit marks an important occasion in strengthening the cooperative relationship of the two sides to new heights.
The two leaders exchanged views on the great successes and experiences of constructive cooperation achieved in the political, economic, military and cultural fields, as well as development orientations for prosperity of the countries and people of the two countries. The two sides also discussed immediate cooperation issues in protecting the sovereignty , development and interests of the two countries, peace and security in the region, the world and international justice. Mr. Kim said he was willing to work with Mr. Putin on a "100-year plan" to build a stable relationship between the two countries.
TASS agency quoted Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov as saying the talks were "very substantive". After the official dinner, Mr. Kim invited Mr. Putin to visit North Korea at an appropriate time and the Russian leader accepted. On September 14, Mr. Kim continued to visit the cities of Komsomolsk-on-Amur and Vladivostok in Russia.
