Caucasus Eagle 2022 exercise launched in Georgia

Tbilisi [Georgia], October 12: Georgia, Azerbaijan and Türkiye have launched the trilateral military exercise Caucasus Eagle 2022, the Georgian defence ministry said on Tuesday.
Hosted in Georgia's eastern city of Sagarejo, the exercise will involve special forces sharing their experience with each other within fire and medical training, and scenarios of special operations in populated areas, the ministry said on its website.
Georgia's Brigadier General IrakliChichinadze and deputy commander of the Georgian Defence Forces addressed participants of the exercise at the opening ceremony.
Georgia, Azerbaijan and Türkiye take turns to hold the Caucasus Eagle exercise every year. Türkiye hosted the exercise in 2021.
