Four Israeli soldiers injured in explosion in Lebanon

Tel Aviv [Israel], April 16: Four Israeli soldiers were injured and taken to hospital after an unidentified explosion that occurred on Lebanese territory, according to a media report later on Monday.
The incident occurred up to 100 metres within Lebanese territory, ynet news site reported, citing an Israeli army spokesman. Earlier the army only said that the blast was near the border area.
One of the soldiers was seriously injured, the other three lightly to moderately, the Israeli military said.
The Lebanese Shiite militia Hezbollah claimed responsibility for the incident. A statement said that several explosive devices had been planted in the Tal Ismail area in Lebanese territory not far from the border with Israel.(DPA)
