1 student killed, 3 injured in bomb attack in SE Myanmar

Yangon [Myanmar], October 14: One student was killed and three others sustained critical injuries in a bomb attack on a school in southeastern Myanmar's Kayin state on Friday, the Information Team of Myanmar's State Administration Council reported.
The bomb attack using drones against the school in Kawkareik town of Kayin state was perpetrated by terrorist groups on Friday afternoon, the information team said.
The terrorists carried out the attack as the students were exiting the school premises following a mid-term exam, it said.
The injured have been sent to Kawkareik General Hospital for medical treatment, it said.
