Security Expert warns Trump’s shift towards Pak amid ‘nuke’ threat, calls Ops Sindoor turning point

Boston (US), August 13, 2025(ANI): On Pakistan Army Chief Asim Munir’s nuclear threat, International Security expert and Associate Prof of Political Science at Northeastern University, Max Abrahms said, "... Trump administration talked about the India-Pakistan conflict as if those two countries are on equal footing with the US and no one party was more culpable, when the entire conflict was set off by Pakistan-backed terrorists killing large numbers of Hindu civilians..." He said, "We have heard Pakistani officials playing the nuclear threat card before, but we have not heard this coming from American soil... It appears that the second Trump administration is inclining towards Pakistan and away from India... A key turning point was Operation Sindoor, where the Trump administration talked about the India-Pakistan conflict as if those two countries are on equal footing with the US and no one party was more culpable, when the entire conflict was set off by Pakistan-backed terrorists killing large numbers of Hindu civilians. Trump administration came in and claimed credit for reducing the conflict and Pakistan was very happy with the intervention by Trump administration... I see this as part of a worry in trend..."
