Geneva (Switzerland), September 23 (ANI): A high-impact seminar held during the 60th session of the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva has shed light on the worsening human rights conditions in Pakistan and Bangladesh. Organised by the Forum on Inter-Cultural & Inter-Religious Dialogue (FICIR) in collaboration with the Asian-Eurasian Human Rights Forum (AEHRF), the event brought together prominent voices, including activists, journalists, and political analysts to sound the alarm on the erosion of civil liberties and the growing influence of religious extremism in both countries. Participants described how terrorist elements, often linked to Pakistani-based networks continue to target civilians in India, attempting to fracture communal unity along religious lines. The participants stressed the urgent need to sensitise people and foster greater understanding of these cross-border threats.
