Ukraine and Azerbaijan agree arms cooperation and plan to boost trade

Kiev [Ukraine], April 26: Ukraine and Azerbaijan agreed on closer military cooperation on Saturday during a visit by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to Baku.
Six documents were signed, Zelensky posted on X following a meeting with President Ilham Aliyev in the Azerbaijani capital.
"The key lies in the armaments complex. We will expand and deepen our cooperation," he said, without providing details.
At the start of the visit, Zelensky met Ukrainian specialists in drone warfare, who presented their experience to Azerbaijan.
Azerbaijan has offered its support to Ukraine in fighting off the Russian invasion and is a major oil supplier, with annual trade reaching $500 million.
