Typhoon Ragasa causes damage in China, Typhoon Bualoi heads to the Philippines

Beijing [China], September 26: AP reported on September 25 that storm Ragasa (storm number 9) swept through Guangdong province (China) after causing damage in the Philippines and Taiwan.
In Yangjiang City, more than 10,000 trees were damaged, with branches floating on flooded streets. Yangjiang Daily reported that nearly half a million households in the city lost power. Streets in Zhuhai City were flooded, forcing rescuers to use inflatable boats to rescue trapped residents.
Communication with residents on some islands in Jiangmen City has been cut off. More than 2 million people in Guangdong were evacuated before the typhoon made landfall on the afternoon of September 24. There were no reports of human casualties.
Meanwhile, Typhoon Bualoi is strengthening and is expected to make landfall in the Philippines ' Bicol region on the afternoon or evening of September 26, before sweeping across southern Luzon on September 27. According to The Philippine Star , the storm has winds of up to 110 km/h, gusting to 135 km/h at noon on September 25. The storm is forecast to weaken after making landfall, but strengthen again as it enters the East Sea, heading towards Hainan Island (China) and Vietnam.
