In Los Angeles, California, a fire on September 8 burned down nearly 500 hectares of forest. Previously, on September 5, this city had a fire that destroyed more than 8,000 hectares of forest land.
Another fire was reported in Nevada, forcing the evacuation of at least 12,000 people in Reno.
