'Painful concessions' needed in Iran conflict, says Oman

Muscat [Oman], April 13: The parties to the Iran war will likely have to make significant concessions to achieve peace, according to Oman's Foreign Minister Badr Al Busaidi. "Success may require everyone to make painful concessions, but that is nothing as compared to the pain and failure of war," Al Busaidi said, calling for an extension of the current two-week ceasefire and a continuation of talks.Al Busaidi posted his comments on X after 21 hours of peace negotiations between the US and Iran ended without any tangible results.
