Libya's daily oil production exceeds 1.4 mln barrels

Dec 04, 2024

Tripoli [Libya], December 4: Libya's daily oil production exceeded 1.4 million barrels on Tuesday, according to the state-owned National Oil Corporation (NOC).
This marks the highest oil production level since 2013, the NOC said in a statement.
"The crude oil and condensate production reached more than 1.4 million barrels, while gas output reached around 200,000 barrels, bringing the total to 1.6 million barrels," the statement said.
"This achievement would not have been possible without the hard work of the national workers, who have worked around the clock to increase oil production to achieve economic stability for the country," it added.
Libya plans to boost daily oil and gas production to 2 million barrels by the end of 2025, according to Prime Minister Abdul-Hamed Dbeibah.
