Jetstar flight makes emergency landing in Japan, passengers injured during evacuation

Washington [US], January 7: A domestic flight operated by low-cost carrier Jetstar Japan made an emergency landing on the morning of January 7 at the international airport in central Japan following a bomb threat.
Kyodo News quoted information from the Japanese Ministry of Transport and local police confirming that the flight had an incident because of a bomb threat .
Around 6:20 a.m. local time (local time), Tokyo's Narita airport received a call in English from a person in Germany, saying that he had planted a bomb on the flight, NHK News reported, citing several sources. .
Before the above information, the domestic flight from Narita to Fukuoka city in southwestern Japan had to be diverted to Chubu National Airport in Aichi Prefecture and successfully landed around 7:40 am.
All 136 passengers and 6 crew members were evacuated from the Airbus A320 . Several passengers were injured during the evacuation, according to Kyoda News.
