Israel forcibly displaced 250,000 Palestinians in Gaza Strip during August: UNRWA

New York [US], August 23: The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) announced on Thursday that Israel forcibly displaced 250,000 Palestinians in the Gaza Strip during August through the issuance of 12 evacuation orders.
In a statement this evening, Thursday, UNRWA reported that the 12 Israeli evacuation orders in August led to the forced displacement of approximately 250,000 people.
The agency warned that Gaza residents are now trapped in a cycle of repeated displacement, as families continue to flee amid ongoing military operations and the scorching summer heat.
