Mar 05, 2026

Tehran [Iran], March 5: Iranian Armed Forces spokesman Brigadier General Abolfazl Shekarchi has threatened attacks on Israeli embassies worldwide if Israel attacks the Iranian embassy in the Lebanese capital Beirut.
According to the state news agency IRNA, the general said that in this case, Israeli embassies around the world would be considered "legitimate targets." "Out of regard for other nations, we have thus far refrained from taking any action against the Israeli embassies," Shekarchi is reported as saying.
"If Israel targets Iran's embassy in Lebanon, we will definitely target all of its embassies," he added. (DPA)
