Infant dies, five people injured in house fire in Australia

Melbourne [Australia], January 20: An infant died and five people were injured in a house fire in Hobart, on Australia's island of Tasmania, police said on Sunday.
Tasmania Police said that emergency services were called to a fire in the Hobart suburb of Rokeby on Sunday morning, and found a house "fully alight" as they got to the scene.
"Sadly, an infant was found deceased inside the residence, and another young child and an adult were taken to the Royal Hobart Hospital with serious injuries," police said in a statement. (DPA)
