Eleven gas stations were bombed in three Thai provinces bordering Malaysia

Bangkok [Thailand], January 11: The Thai Internal Security Operations Command announced that 11 PTT gas stations were bombed in three southern border provinces late on January 10, according to the Bangkok Post.
The Thai Internal Security Operations Command announced that groups with malicious intent had bombed 11 gas stations in the border area with Malaysia.
Of the 11 bombings, 5 were reported in the districts of Cho Airong, Chanae, Rangae, Waeng, and Sungai Kolok (Narathiwat province); 2 gas stations in the districts of Muang and Kapho (Pattani province); and 4 others in the districts of Kabang, Bannang Sata, and Muang in Yala province.
In Cho Airong, a gas station was bombed just a few months after it opened.
There is currently no information on casualties. The bombings have caused panic among local residents.
Security forces have brought the situation under control, cordoning off areas and conducting detailed investigations to ensure public safety, according to The Nation . Authorities are assessing the damage and searching for those responsible.
Residents are advised to avoid high-risk areas and closely monitor official updates.
