Disney California kicks off food, wine festival

Los Angeles [California], March 1: Disney California Adventure Park kicked off its annual Food and Wine Festival on Friday, featuring lively entertainment and a bounty of food and beverages inspired by the cultures and fresh ingredients of California's landscape.
More than 100 food and beverage items are on the diverse festival menu at the park, including new items such as mini LA street dog, whole grilled fish with corn tortillas, mango sticky rice-inspired churro, and smoked Hawaiian pizza.
This year's festival features eight marketplaces of abundant culinary assortments. Visitors can enjoy an array of unique cuisine and innovative drinks, art and entertainment, and festival add-ons, all inspired by the combination of California's cultures and flavors.
Another highlight of the festival includes an expansive selection of educational seminars and select signature events, giving visitors the opportunity to hear and learn from visiting and Disney chefs as well as beverage experts.
The festival runs from Feb. 28 through April 21.
