Brazilian Federal Government allocates $4.5 million to the Ministry of Education

Brasilia [Brazil], January 9: Jair Bolsonaro has enacted a law 14.490/2022, which allocates $4.5 million to the Ministry of Education. The executive order was published in a supplementary issue of the Brazilian Federal Government's official newspaper (DiarioOficial da Uniao).
The resources correspond to additional credits for pre-school education, operation and management of federal hospitals.
The new law also allocates additional funding to the ministries of health, infrastructure, communications, regional development, citizenship, agriculture, justice and public security for a total of $112.6 million, as reported by Brasil247, a partner of TV BRICS.
