Abdullah bin Zayed, Borell review regional developments

Abu Dhabi [UAE], February 3: H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs, discussed during a phone call with Josep Borrell, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, the latest developments in the Middle East and the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
The two sides deliberated on enhancing the efforts of the international community to reach a sustainable ceasefire to allow the safe delivery of relief and medical aid to the people of Gaza at an accelerated pace.
H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed reaffirmed the UAE's support for all regional and international efforts made to reach a sustainable ceasefire.
Sheikh Abdullah further stressed that the difficult humanitarian conditions suffered by the Palestinian people require urgent action from all parties of the international community in order to enhance the humanitarian response to meet the needs of civilians and alleviate their suffering.
