6.0-magnitude quake hits 6 km NNE of Metahāra, Ethiopia: USGS

Albany [New York] (US), February 15: An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.0 jolted 6 km NNE of Metahāra, Ethiopia at 20:28:23 GMT on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 8.96 degrees north latitude and 39.93 degrees east longitude.
