17 killed, 182 wounded in Israeli airstrikes on Lebanon in 24 hours

Beirut [Lebanon], October 17: The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that 17 people were killed and 182 others wounded as a result of Israeli airstrikes on Lebanon over the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of casualties since the start of the events to 2,367 killed and 11,106 injured.
The Lebanese National News Agency quoted the Coordinator of the Government Emergency Committee, Minister of Environment Dr. Nasser Yassin, as saying that 138 airstrikes were recorded over the past 24 hours in various regions of Lebanon, bringing the total number since the beginning of the aggression to 10,150 airstrikes.
He pointed out that 1,076 centres have been opened to receive displaced persons, 885 of which have reached their maximum capacity, and 190,698 displaced persons have been registered in the shelters.
