National sculpture exhibition kicks off in Bangladeshi capital

Dhaka [Bangaladesh], Nov 30: A month-long sculpture exhibition has kicked off in Bangladesh's capital Dhaka, with a total of 114 selected sculptures by 107 sculptors being exhibited.
Bangladeshi State Minister for Cultural Affairs KM Khalid inaugurated the "5th National Sculpture Exhibition 2021" at the National Art Gallery of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (the national academy of fine and performing arts) on Monday evening.
Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy Director General Liaquat Ali Lucky earlier said they organized the exhibition to encourage the practice of sculpture-making and its development.
The exhibition will last till Dec. 28.
