State visit of President of Uzbekistan to Kyrgyzstan ended

Bishkek [Kyrgyzstan], January 28: The state visit of President of Uzbekistan ShavkatMirziyoyev to the Kyrgyz Republic, which took place on January 26-27, has ended.
As part of the visit, the official meeting ceremony of President of the Kyrgyz Republic SadyrZhaparov and President of the Republic of Uzbekistan ShavkatMirziyoyev was held at the Ala-Archa state residence.
Further, the leaders of the countries in a narrow and expanded format discussed a wide range of issues of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek strategic partnership, as well as plans for the further development of relations in the spirit of friendship, brotherhood and good neighborliness.
SadyrZhaparov and ShavkatMirziyoyev expressed their satisfaction with the results of the talks, noting that Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan confirmed their firm commitment to further strengthening the Kyrgyz-Uzbek multifaceted cooperation.
As a result of the state visit of the President of Uzbekistan to Kyrgyzstan, a number of bilateral documents were signed aimed at enhancing cooperation between the two countries. Among the signed documents: the Declaration on Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of the country and the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan on cooperation in the field of prevention and elimination of emergency situations, etc.
At the end of the state visit of ShavkatMirziyoyev to Kyrgyzstan, an ethnocultural program was presented to the guests during an informal meeting in the Ala-Archa State Natural Park.
