German shares almost unchanged at the start of trading on Tuesday

Berlin (Germany) Apr 20: German stocks were almost unchanged at the start of trading on Tuesday, with the benchmark DAX index losing 7.24 points, or 0.05 percent, opening at 15,361.15 points.
The biggest winner among Germany's 30 largest listed companies at the start of trading was carmaker Daimler, increasing by 0.97 percent, followed by building materials company HeidelbergCement with 0.18 percent and carmaker Volkswagen with 0.13 percent.
Shares of Munich Re fell by 0.95 percent. The German reinsurer was the biggest loser at the start of trading on Tuesday.
Producer prices of German industrial products in March grew by 0.9 percent over the previous month and were up 3.7 percent year-on-year, the country's Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) announced on Tuesday.
The yield on German ten-year bonds went up 0.0005 percentage points to minus 0.2355 percent and the euro was trading almost unchanged at 1.2038 U.S. dollars, increasing by 0.02 percent on Tuesday morning.
