Albania defeats Belarus in UEFA Nations League

Tirana (Albania), November 19: Albania's national football team defeated Belarus 3-2 to go top of Group C4 in UEFA Nations League on Wednesday at Air Albania stadium.
Albania dominated the opening minutes of the match and it was forward Sokol Cikalleshi who scored the first goal in the 20th minute with an assist by defender Hysen Memolla.
In the 26th minute, Belarus goalkeeper Yegor Khatkevich conceded a penalty for a foul on the Albanian forward Rey Manaj. Cikalleshi stepped up to score from the penalty spot in the 27th minute to add his second for the evening.
In the 35th minute, Belarus caught Albania's back line off guard as forward Maksim Skavysh scored the first goal for Belarus with an assist by defender Roman Yuzepchuk.
Forward Rey Manaj scored the third goal for Albania in the 44th minute of the first half.
In the 80th minute, Belarus narrowed the gap with midfielder Max Ebong scoring a second goal for the visiting team with an assist by defender Aleksandr Sachivko.
With this victory, Albania took the lead of Group C4 with 11 points, followed by Belarus with 10 points and was also promoted to League B.
