US election overview in battleground states

Nearly 4,100 voters in 6 states participated in the survey from April 28 to May 9.
Specifically, Mr. Trump leads Mr. Biden in the hypothetical confrontation in the states of Arizona (49-43), Pennsylvania (48-45), Wisconsin (47-46), Nevada (51-38) and Georgia (50- 41). President Biden is only slightly better than Mr. Trump in Michigan with a ratio of 47-46.
The latest results are almost similar to previous surveys by The New York Times and Siena University. According to Politico , citing observers, this shows that recent developments such as the criminal trial against Mr. Trump in New York state do not seem to have significantly affected voter opinions.
On the other hand, survey results show that Mr. Trump is increasingly popular with young voters and voters of color compared to 2020, with many people aged 18-29 saying they will support Mr. Trump like Mr. Biden. . A similar trend was also recorded among Latino voters, while about 20% of black voters in the six states mentioned above leaned towards Republican candidates.
On the same day as May 13 (local time), Mr. Michael Cohen, Mr. Trump's former personal lawyer, testified before Manhattan criminal court in New York City in Mr. Trump's trial on charges of paying hush money to a porn star. prostitution in 2016, according to Reuters. "Just do it," Mr. Cohen repeated Mr. Trump's instructions to spend $130,000 on Stormy Daniels so that the actress would not reveal their sexual relationship in 2006.
According to witness Cohen, in the final weeks of the 2016 election, he learned that Ms. Daniels was trying to sell the story about her relationship with Mr. Trump to tabloid newspapers. The defense lawyer said that Mr. Trump did not have an extramarital relationship with Ms. Daniels, but still spent money to protect his family from the risk of humiliation. Mr. Cohen testified that Mr. Trump only cares about the election campaign being affected if the story is revealed. The defense attorney accused Mr. Cohen of lying and trying to get Mr. Trump involved in this case, but the witness insisted he was only following orders. Mr. Cohen continued to testify in court on May 14.
